The book I read to research this post was The Holy Grail by Giles Morgan which is a very good book. In this book the author looks at the Arthurian Legends & the other legends about the Holy Grail & then looks at other religions and cultures and how there is a similiarity between the stories they believe. Interestingly you know I reviewed books on this subject by Graham Phillips & Andrew Collins, there not mentioned in the bibliography. Some people believe the container that stores the Turin Shroud is the Holy Grail & some believe it’s a bloodline of descendants from Jesus. Others believe it’s the chalice that Jesus used at the Last Supper & that Joseph of Arimethea caught Jesus’s blood in it. Interestingly the Eskimoes think the walruss skull is sacred & and will from it in there rituals. This type of similiarity was noticed by Carl Jung who studied the Arthurian Legends as well as the folklore of many cultures. The Vikings believed that there were 2 spirit worlds, a good and a bad one. They believed one of their gods, Odin had his blood drained & mixed with mead that then became a sacred drink. They believed some of this was spilt on the Earth & gave poets their inspiration.
